Schools in Greasby, Frankby and Irby will benefit from £182,000 of extra funding during the 2014/15 academic year thanks to the Lib Dems in government.

This extra money is designed to help Head Teachers ensure that every child, regardless of their background, is able to get the best start in life.

Commenting about the extra investment Peter Reisdorf said: “It’s great news that local schools are benefiting from this extra investment.

“The great thing about this extra money is Head Teachers can spend it in the way that best works for their school, with many spending it on breakfast clubs, one-on-one tuition, extra lessons and resources,” added Peter.
