A 37-year-old father of three, I am a Steam & Hot Water Sales Engineer.
I am also a fundraising ambassador for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and the host of a political podcast.
I joined the Liberal Democrats following the EU referendum; I felt that there is a void in the centre ground of our political system left by both the Tories and Labour moving to the far right and left. This made me feel as though many people aren’t being represented, due to their us-and-them ‘party politics’.
This is apparent in our local council and I don’t feel tribalism, point-scoring and division are what this area needs.
Labour and the Tories have had over 90 years in charge of this country between them and they can’t get it right; it’s now time for someone else.
