If you have a real Christmas tree and are wondering how to dispose of it, you might be interested to know about the scheme run by St John’s Hospice to raise funds. You can organise for your tree to be collected and raise money for charity at the same time.
You can register for Christmas Tree Collection on the Just Helping website. Trees are being collected from the Wirral area and your donation will go to Wirral’s local Hospice to continue providing free care for patients and their families.
The suggested minimum donation is £5 for a small tree and £7 for a medium to large tree, but give as generously as you can.
Christmas Trees can be collected from the following postcodes: CH41, CH42, CH43, CH44, CH45, CH46, CH47, CH48, CH49, CH60, CH61, CH62, CH63, CH64 between the 6th and 11th January 2018.
Register your tree here by 3rd January 2019.
