For the second time in a few months Oxton campaigner Allan Brame has had to report dumping of refuse in the entry behind the Woodchurch Road shops next to Sainsbury’s car park.
“The Council was very efficient in clearing the mess last time,” Allan said, “but we are back to square one.”
There are several black bin bags plus an assortment of other waste strewn along the entry. Some of the shops backing on to the entry are food outlets.
“We have a perfectly good refuse collection service so it is hard to see what is so difficult about disposing of this waste properly,” Allan said.
“And it is hard to see why council tax payers should have to foot the bill for clearing this mess up.”
